Riya Ahmed

Having recently joined Team Beds & Luton as the Marketing Officer, I'm excited to make a change and inspire the people of Bedfordshire to move more. I am extremely passionate about both marketing and physical health, and to have an opportunity to incorporate both is truly rewarding. I believe it is my purpose to use my skillsets and opportunities to make a difference.

I graduated from the University of Bedfordshire in 2020 with a first-class honour's degree in Marketing and since then have gained various experiences working with diverse audiences. I particularly enjoyed work where I felt like I was making a difference to the lives of people I worked with. Being of South Asian origin I have witnessed first-hand the lack of awareness minority groups can have on the importance of physical health and well-being, which contributes to my eagerness in providing opportunities and awareness for all communities.

On a personal level, I love running and have been sprint running for over three years. I believe physical fitness is one of the first requisites of happiness and allows harmony for the mind body and spirit.
