Peter Newton
Peter is a chartered IT senior manager with 32 years expertise in leading ICT within transformation and change, operation, application development and programme management. Delivering IT across the corporate, public and 3rd sectors and at regional, national and global level. 4 years ago, he joined a CSU as Head of Service Development which eventually became an ICT shared service for fours CCGs and two Hertfordshire Trusts. Part time he has coached the army in martial arts and was a stuntman in his 30s.
Peter has been active for over 30 years in combative sports qualified to coach Boxing, Wrestling and Fencing as well as being a Black Belt in a number of martial arts. He is currently on a sabbatical and focusing on surfing, rock climbing and snowboarding.
He is qualified in TALS to support talented athletes in managing their lifestyle on the way to the podium and also has a Foundation degree in sports coaching.
Peter brings experience in delivering corporate change programmes and changing cultural thinking along with a passion for partaking in sport and supporting and coaching others to maximise their sporting potential.
