Khtija Malik

Councillor Khtija Malik was elected first in 2007 for the Challney ward in the North of Luton and has been a member of the executive since 2020. Currently the lead member responsible for Public Health and commissioning and sits on Luton's Health and Wellbeing Board. She is the lead member overseeing commissioning of health and wellbeing services, Active Luton (sport and leisure).

Khtija has completed her studies at University of Bedfordshire and has worked in educational settings. She has been appointed as a public governor of East London NHS Foundation Trust ( which provides mental health services within Luton).
